CAVITE SCHOOL HIRES JEEPNEY DRIVERS TO DELIVER MODULES
A SCHOOL in Dasmariñas, Cavite has turned to jeepney drivers to deliver printed learning modules.
Under its program ‘BiyaHERO’, the Salawag Elementary School, in partnership with Dasmariñas School division, hired jeepney drivers and owners of private vehicles to deliver printed modules.
Armando Atonis, president of the Parent-Teacher Association, initiated the program and offered to help students who cannot go to the school to pick up their learning modules .
The school started distributing the printed materials on September 22.
The school held meetings with concerned individuals to determine the drop off points for the modules.
These initiatives were part of the preparations of the Dasmariñas school division for the opening of classes on October 5.
