CAGAYAN STATE U PARTNERS WITH DSWD FOR ASSESSMENT OF PROGRAMS
THE CAGAYAN State University partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development to assess the impact of the programs of the DSWD in Region 2.
A memorandum of agreement was signed by officials from both institutions during the unveiling of the school’s newly renovated administration conference hall.
DWSD Regional Director Dr. Cezario Joel C. Espejo said that the results of the study will help improve their services.
He added that the assessment will also serve as an input for policy enhancement and development.
The projects that will be assessed by CSU are the Cagayan Valley Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth, Cagayan Regional Haven for Women and Girls and Reception, and Study Center for Children.
“This new research endeavor of CSU with DSWD RO2 generally aims to craft policy notes/ policy briefs as a result of the impact assessment on the [said projects],” CSU said.
