BINMALEY LOCAL GOV’T SUSPENDS F2F CLASSES, WORK
THE Municipality of Binmaley has suspended face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools on April 4 and 8, including work in district offices.
According to Executive Order No. 16 s. 2024, the said suspension was due to the present high heat index being experienced in all public and private schools of Binmaley I & II in the LGU.
Modular distance learning will be implemented to address poor and unfavorable learning environments during these dates.
“Local Government Unit of Binmaley mandated to safeguard learners and personnel from unnecessary physical dangers which they may be exposed to,” the EO read.
In the EO, Binmaley Mayor Pedro Merrera III cited Department Order No. 037 s. 2022 as the suspension was also in line with the Department of Education’s circular.
