POLICEMEN in Bicol participated in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela by helping clean schools in preparation for the opening of classes on September 13.

Members of the Albay Provincial Mobile Force Company joined in the first day of Brigada Eskwela in Namantao Elementary School in Daraga, Albay.

They also donated five rims of bond paper.

Meanwhile, personnel of the 1st Mobile Force Platoon of the Masbate Provincial Mobile Force Company participated in the clean up activities in Lalaguna Elementary School in Mobo, Masbate.

Philippine National Police chief General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar praised the policemen for helping teachers and school officials in cleaning the schools.

“Maipapakita nito na handa ang ating kapulisan na maging bahagi ng mga gawain na may kinalaman sa pagpapaunlad sa mga kabataan, gaya ng kanilang edukasyon,” Eleazar said.

“Isa rin itong patunay na maaasahan ang ating kapulisan sa anumang pagkakataon,” he added.
