SCHOLAR students from the Province of Bataan will now receive their stipends through ATMs.

A report from 1Bataan said Bataan Gov. Abet Garcia signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the LandBank of the Philippines for the initiative, according to its scholarship coordinator.

It stated the governor was authorized to enter into the agreement through the help of Vice Gov. Cris Garcia.

It added the move is also part of its Covid19 prevention protocol and for the convenience of the students.

The registration for the ATM will be per town, Iskolar ng Bataan coordinator Ramon Canas said.

Meanwhile, the online application period for the college scholarship program for the School Year

2021-2022 will be from June 1 to 30.
