BANGSAMORO TEACHERS URGED TO GET JABS
BANGSAMORO teachers were urged to have themselves inoculated against Covid19 to help the national government in its drive to attain herd immunity.
Mohagher M. Iqbal, the minister of Basic, Higher and Technical Education, made the call after getting his first vaccine dose.
Iqbal believes that getting a jab is the long-term solution to controlling the pandemic.
“For the information of everybody… I have decided to be vaccinated today because I believe that this is the long-term solution to address the Covid19 pandemic,” Iqbal said.
“I am encouraging… all our teachers to undergo the vaccination because this is good for our people,” he added.
The minister said that teachers should get jabs in preparation for the resumption of face-to-face classes.
