ARMED conflict has stopped the Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education from pursuing its hiring process in the municipality of Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the BMBHTE said it will not endanger the lives of its personnel and will release an announcement when everything is clear.

“Due to security concern, please be advised that the hiring processes in the Municipality of Malabang is currently on hold until further notice due to the recent armed conflict in the area,” it said.

“The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education considers the safety and welfare of everyone as a paramount consideration. Rest assured that the MBHTE shall release an official announcement for the resumption of the interview process. Hoping for the safety of everyone,” it added.

Netizens urged the ministry to hold its hiring activities in other areas.
