THE LOCAL government unit of La Paz in Agusan del Sur partnered with the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology in launching a service center to help farmers.

The center aims to “fine-tune the components of the Techno Gabay Program in implementing updated and high-tech information and extension services to its clients.”

The “Farmers Information and Technology Services Center” also seeks to boost development of the province.

The center received P100,000 in funding from the Agricultural Training Institute.

A ceremony was held to mark the launch of the center at the Municipal Demonstration Farm in Poblacion, La Paz.

Local government officials and representatives of the school attended the event.
