ADDITIONAL COVID 19 PROTOCOLS CRAFTED BY BACOLOD IN TIME FOR TEACHERS’ EXAM
THE BACOLOD City Emergency Operations Center-Task Force announced additional Covid 19 protocols will be strictly implemented during the conduct of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers this Sunday.
The exam will be held at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos campus with 811 examinees — 638 for the secondary level and 173 for elementary.
“We are conducting a briefing for all stakeholders to make sure that health protocols are properly implemented and observed,” the EOC-TF said in a statement.
Examinees must submit either a certificate of quarantine or negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction test result, as well as present a BacTrac contact tracing ID card for scanning at the gate of the campus.
“The certificate of quarantine covering the past 14 days must be certified by the barangay where the examinee resides,” EOC-TF said.
“The negative RT-PCR test result should have been released within three to five days before the examination,” it added.
Examinees are also urged by the EOC-TF to get vaccinated since they will be prioritized for vaccination once they present their notice of admission.
Meanwhile, City Administrator Em Ang, along with medical deputies Dr. Chris Sorongon, Dr. Anna Maria Laarni Pornan, and Dr. Edwin Miraflor Jr., held a briefing and ocular inspection of the examination venue last Friday.
They were joined by representatives of the Bacolod City Police Office, Barangay 40 Task Force Disiplina, EOC Information and Education Committee, and EOC Secretariat.
