UMABOT na sa 90 porsiyento ng Department of Education-Western Visayas personnel ang fully vaccinated laban sa Covid19.

Ayon sa DepEd, 76,755 sa 84,518 teaching at non-teaching personnel ang bakunado na kontra Covid19.

Samantala, sinabi ni Hernani Escullar Jr., information officer ng DepEd-6, na 7,763 sa mga personnel na hindi pa bakunado ay naka-work from home.

“Some are waiting for the vaccination schedule of their LGUs (local government units) while others have comorbidities and are first seeking clearance from their doctors,” sabi ni Escullar.

“Per DepEd Task Force Covid19 Memorandum 575 issued on Dec. 7, 2021, ang hindi pa nabakunahan will be on a work-from-home arrangement with specific tasks assigned,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang pagbabakuna kontra Covid19 ay hindi mandatory sa mga tauhan ng DepEd, ngunit ang hindi bakunado ay dapat magpakita ng negatibong resulta ng kanilang RT-PCR test o antigen. Ang Covid test ay kailangang bayaran ng mga personnel.
