4-STORY CLASSROOM BUILDING CONSTRUCTED IN SURIGAO
THE DEPARTMENT of Public Works and Highways said that the construction of the 4-story classroom building at the Falcon Memorial Elementary School in Tago, Surigao del Sur has been completed.
The DPWH and the Surigao del Sur 1st District Engineering Office teamed up for the construction of the building. The budget came from the Department of Education’s School Buildings Fund for Fiscal Year 2020.
The new building will provide students and school personnel with 20 spacious and well-ventilated classrooms that are conducive to learning.
More than 1,000 students will benefit from the learning facility.
“With the opening of face-to-face classes, the 20-classroom building is a timely addition to address the growing number of pupils of Falcon Memorial Elementary School,” DPWH XIII Regional Director Pol Delos Santos said.
“Seeing our school building projects filled with students is a joyful experience because, now, our work is complete, and the buildings serve their purpose,” DPWH XIII Regional Director Pol Delos Santos said.
