10 ZAMBALES SCHOOLS TO CONDUCT LIMITED F2F CLASSES
TEN public schools in Zambales province have been allowed to participate in the pilot run of limited face-to-face classes starting November 15.
All 10 schools were thoroughly assessed to determine their readiness, Michelle Mejica, DepEd-Zambales Assistant School Superintendent, said.
“The selected schools were among the 42 learning institutions nominated by the Schools Division of Zambales,” Mejica said.
“The team created by DepEd and the Department of Health conducted school safety assessment among the 42 schools and these schools passed are on the minimal risk areas,” she added.
The schools are the Maguisguis Integrated School, Burgos Elementary School, Moraza Elementary School, Owaog-Nebloc Elementary School, Belbel Elementary School, Nacolcol Integrated School, Palis Integrated School, all in Botolan; Baliwet Elementary School and San Marcelino National High School, both in San Marcelino; and Banawen Elementary School in San Felipe.
Mejica assured parents that safety precautions will be enforced to protect their children.
“We are working on the memorandum of agreement with the provincial government headed by Governor Hermogenes Ebdane and the local executives of the three LGUs where the selected schools are located,” she said.
Education Secretary Leonor Briones said that 90 public schools have been approved to conduct limited face-to-face classes.
