YOUTH GROUP: VOTING ON 2022 WILL BE YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO NATION-BUILDING
YOUTH group Junior Chamber International Philippines urged the public to vote in the national and local elections next year, saying that it is their contribution to nation-building.
JCI Philippines launched the “#AmbagKo. Rehistro. Boto.” campaign to boost voter registration.
“This pandemic is a real-life test for the kind of leaders that we want, leaders who will be quick to respond, proactive leaders who would bring this nation to a higher level of resilience,” JCI National President Jude Acidre said.
The group provided information on voter’s registration amid the pandemic on its website, its former regatta local president Charie Ginete-Ilon said.
“Our website will be jampacked with infographics, quick facts, videos, and blogs that are educational and useful, providing information about registering and voting under a pandemic,” Ilon said.
The group also plans to roll out a “rewards system” for netizens who will actively take part in voter registration and voter education campaigns.
