YOUTH GROUP URGES SARA TO SUPPORT SAFE SCHOOL REOPENING BILL
KABATAAN Party-list welcomed the plan of incoming Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio to resume face-to-face classes by August and urged the next education chief to support education-related bills.
The youth group feared that Duterte-Carpio’s vague pronouncements may just be promises and a grand populist gesture to appease a disgruntled public.
Gagawin ba niya ito?” he added.
Manuel said that they will refile the Safe School Reopening Bill and Emergency Student Aid and Relief Bill and ask for Duterte’s support.
“Kung seryoso ang gobyerno sa ligtas na balik-eskwela, dapat i-certify as urgent ang mga panukalang ito,” he stresed.
