MANILA Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso congratulated young math achiever Gaddiel Alexavier Dorig of Paco Citizen Academy Foundation for bringing honor to the Philippines after earning two awards at the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) 2026.

Gaddiel won the Silver Award in the Kindergarten Category during the HKIMO Heat Round 2026 and later secured the Bronze Award in the HKIMO Final Round 2026.

Moreno praised Gaddiel’s outstanding performance, saying the achievement is a source of pride not only for his school but also for the City of Manila and the entire country.

The mayor encouraged Gaddiel to continue showcasing the talent and excellence of Filipino youth on the international stage. He also expressed confidence that the young student’s achievement would inspire other learners to pursue academic excellence.

The Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad is an international mathematics competition that recognizes and develops the mathematical skills of students from different countries.
