VICE President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio visited Panlab Elementary School in Virac, Catanduanes and conducted tree-planting activity.

Part of her visit, Duterte-Carpio asked the condition of the students and teachers to know their needs.

“Sa ating mga kabataan, nawa’y ang inyong determinasyon at pagsisikap sa pag-aaral ay magiging tulay upang maabot ninyo ang inyong mga inaasam na pangarap sa buhay. Ang sigasig ninyo sa pag-aaral ay ang susi tungo sa mas maliwanag na bukas para sa inyo at sa inyong mga pamilya,” she said.

The Vice President also initiated the planting of trees in the school which is part of the Office of the Vice President’s PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign.

The program aims to provide one million bags with school supplies and dental kits and plant one million trees within the administration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
