VICE President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio recently visited Lam-ayan Integrated School in Buguias, Benguet to assess the current situation of the institution.

The visit is part of implementing the Matatag Curriculum in selected Pilot Implementer schools for the upcoming school year.

Lam-ayan Integrated School, which comprises 211 students and employs 14 teaching and three non-teaching personnel, was the focal point of Duterte-Carpio’s dialogue with teachers and principals to address their concerns and inform them about the Department of Education’s programs.

“Through such interactions, we can actualize the changes within our Department,” Duterte-Carpio stated.

“We will continue to work towards and advocate for improvements while nurturing the dreams of Filipino youth,” the Vice President added.
