VICE President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio led the National Summit of the MATATAG Curriculum Pilot Implementers on Friday.

Duterte-Carpio emphasized that everyone must work together for the success of the teaching and learning of the MATATAG Curriculum.

“We know the huge challenge of implementing the new curriculum in more than 40,000 schools across the country, and we are truly grateful for the 35 schools that have taken the challenge to implement ahead of the others,” she said.

Some of the topics discussed at the National Summit were the Updates on the Evaluation of the MATATAG Curriculum Pilot Implementation, the Introduction to Integrating the Science of Learning in the Curriculum Implementation, the Presentation of Activities Supporting the Curriculum, and Strand support.

The National Summit aims to lay out good practices, issues, and concerns of field implementers, particularly teachers, in the implementation of the K to 10 MATATAG Curriculum.
