EDUCATION Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio has lauded the Lugay-Lugay Central School in Cotabato City principal for innovative projects in education that would help students.

Dr. Sadat Minandang initiated the programs TulaKaalaman and Byaheng Kaalaman Project which aim to provide lessons for children who are not given proper education and out-of-school children.

“Tunay na ipinagmamalaki namin ang mga nagawa ni Dr. Sadat Minandang bilang tagapagtatag ng TulaKaalaman at Byaheng Kaalaman Project,” Duterte-Carpio said.

The Vice President also welcomed Minandang and Dr. Concepcion Balawag, Schools Division Superintendent of Cotabato City as they visited her office.

Aside from being a teacher, Minandang also served as a humanitarian worker in a non-governmental organization in areas ravaged by natural disasters in Mindanao.
