VICE PRESIDENT and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio conducted a tree planting project at Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo High School in Ramon, Isabela when she visited the school.

The said school was one of the Matatag K-10 Curriculum Pilot School Implementers in Region 2.

“Binibisita natin ang mga eskwelahang ito dahil sila ang matapang na sumagot sa hamon natin na maging pilot school implementers ng ating bagong curriculum,” Duterte-Carpio said.

“Ito rin ay upang pagbigyan ang kahilingan ng ating mga guro noong Matatag K-10 Curriculum Pilot Implementers Summit sa Manila na sila ay bisitahin,” she added.

The Vice President also spoke to the teachers and their principal to hear their complaints and suggestions to help the students have a better learning environment.

Duterte-Carpio also gave a message to the parents at the Student Teacher’s, Parents Association and encouraged them to support their children’s education.
