VICE President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio has expressed her gratitude to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for continuing to trust her.

“Maraming salamat, Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., sa patuloy na pagtitiwala sa akin bilang Kalihim ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon,” Duterte-Carpio said.

The Vice President vowed that she would continue to serve the public, especially the students.

“Makakaasa po kayo na ang DepEd, na binubuo ng ating mga guro at non-teaching personnel, ay patuloy na maglilingkod nang tapat para sa kinabukasan ng bawat mag-aaral,” she said.

Earlier, Marcos defended Duterte-Carpip amid the calls for her resignation as the DepEd Secretary and said that she would remain as the chief of DepEd.
