THE UNIVERSITY of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines launched on Friday its new teaching center to help faculty members cope with the digital age.

The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning will prepare and train teachers to better equip them for the changing education system.

The university said that the center “specializes in preparing and training faculty members to become vastly capable and effective educators who can adapt with 21st century trends in teaching and learning.”

“CiTL will reintroduce the Center’s programs and services to the USTP community; extend awareness and strengthen the causes of CiTL’s relevance in the academic landscape, and create immediate opportunities for invitations of upcoming events of the Center,” it added.

The center started operations in January 2020.
