UP GRAD TOPS BOARD EXAMS FOR DOCTORS
A GRADUATE from the University of the Philippines Manila topped the Physician Licensure Examinations held in March and September this year.
Maria Carla Edejer Buenaflor got a rating of 89.17 percent, edging out 1,424 examinees.
The Top 5 examinees include John Marlon Bunag Lintan from the University of Santo Tomas who got a score of 88 percent; Dhonna Leonoe Cambronero from the Davao Medical School, 87.92 percent; James Daniel Estrella Omalin from the De La Salle Medical & Health Sciences Institute, 87.75 percent; and Gregory Dennis Fundales Idago from St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine-William H. Quasha, 87.58 percent.
Those in the sixth to 10th places were Charles Vanhill Nermal Raksham from De La Salle Medical & Health Sciences Institute, 87.17 percent; Erika Anne Cabildo Pangan from the University of Santo Tomas, 87.08 percent; and April Jean Guinto Gapo, Jessah April Singson Naingue and Carren Emirose Honrada Solidor, all from the Southwestern University with scores of 87, 86.83 and 86.67, respectively.
The Professional Regulatory Commission said 800 out of 1,424 examinees or 58.18 percent passed the board exam.
