STUDENTS of the Universidad de Manila (UDM) will soon receive their long-awaited allowances for April and May 2025 following the approval of the fund release by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso.

The city government has allocated a total of ₱20,230,000 to cover the student assistance program, benefiting 10,115 UDM college students.

Each beneficiary will receive ₱2,000, equivalent to ₱1,000 per month for the two-month period.

The financial aid is part of the city’s ongoing effort to support public university students and help ease their educational expenses amid the rising cost of living.

Domagoso reaffirmed the city’s commitment to ensuring that Manila students continue to receive adequate academic and financial support as they pursue higher education.

The initiative was announced by the Manila Public Information Office under the campaign #AlertoManileño.
