UDM RESCHEDULES OPENING OF SECOND SEMESTER
THE UNIVERSIDAD de Manila postponed the opening of the second semester to February 7 because of the surge in Covid19 cases.
The school said the deferment of the start of classes will give students enough time to recover and return to normalcy.
The move was made following a survey that showed more than 1,400 students had flu-like symptoms, nearly 50 students tested positive for Covid19, and more than 200 households of students had confirmed Covid19 cases.
The survey also revealed that more than 120 employees also had flu-like symptoms, 12 employees tested positive for Covid19, and nearly 30 households of employees had confirmed Covid19 cases.
All faculty members were directed to upload their respective syllabuses in UDMoodle or any other platforms available beginning January 22, 2022.
This is in accordance with the declaration by Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso of an academic break from January 14 to 21, 2022.
