TOP 100 COLLEGE STUDENTS IN CAVITE 1ST DISTRICT RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS

/ 26 January 2024

CAVITE Rep. Jolo Revilla has led the distribution of scholarship grants to top 100 college students of the province’s first congressional district.

The first batch of scholars were given P25,000 each under the Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition or SMART Program.

Revilla said he is proud of the top scholars from Rosario, Noveleta, Kawit, and Cavite City, who now have additional funds for their school-related expenses.

“Ang tanging hiling ko lang ay mag-aral kayo nang mabuti hanggang sa makatapos ng kolehiyo. Asahan ninyo po na patuloy tayong maglulunsad ng mga programa na makatutulong sa mas maraming kabataan sa ating distrito,” Revilla said.

SMART Grant is a project of the Commission on Higher Education and is being implemented in the province with the help of Revilla.

The program is a step in ensuring that youth, especially those in need, can continue their studies and have the opportunity to graduate and become part of the country’s workforce.
