ISINUSULONG ni Bohol 2nd District Rep. Erico Aristotle Aumentado ang panukala para sa pagtatayo ng training center ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority sa bayan ng Ubay.

Sa kanyang House Bill 9918, iginiit ni Aumentado na target ng TESDA na makabuo ng mas marami pang resources, partikular mula sa mga lokal na pamahalaan at pribadong sektor.

“TESDA undoubtedly has significantly grown in the past years, it is still faced with some enduring, as well as current issues and challenges,” pahayag ni Aumentado sa kanyang explanatory note.

Sinabi ng kongresista na ang pagbuo ng mga traning center ay makapagbibigay ng napapanahon, dekalidad at epektibong technical education at skills development sa mga Filipino middle level manpower.

Sa kanyang panukala ay itatayo ang TESDA Municipal Training Center sa bayan ng Ubay upang magbigay ng oportunidad sa mga estudyante mula sa low income families at mga out-of-school youth sa lugar.

“It shall develop the students to become productive, self-reliant, and globally competititve middle level skilled labor workers, in order to boost the social and economic development of Ubay, Bohol as well as to meet the demand of local and international labor markets,” dagdag ng kongresista.
