/ 3 November 2025

THE NAVOTAS City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), in partnership with Save Philippine Seas, conducted a Training of Trainers on Marine Litter Learning Management for student leaders from various schools in the city.

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and leadership skills of young advocates in promoting ocean cleanliness and environmental protection.

Through interactive sessions and hands-on learning, participants were equipped with the tools and strategies to lead community-based initiatives against marine litter.

“This initiative empowers our youth to become active stewards of the environment and champions of cleaner, healthier seas,” the city government said.

It also reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable coastal management and youth engagement.

The program forms part of Navotas City’s continuing efforts to protect its marine ecosystem and foster a culture of environmental responsibility among the next generation.
