EIGHTY-SIX State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines participated in the National Parol Making Competition this year.

The event, organized by the Social Secretary’s Office, had the theme “Isang Bituin, Isang Mithiin.”

Entries should showcase the unique traditions of each institution.

The office has opened online voting on its official Facebook page. The public can vote for their favorite entry by reacting with a heart on the photo.

The entry with the most number of hearts will win. The online polling will provide a 10-point advantage during the parol judging. The winner in the competition will receive a P100,000 cash prize.

“Show your favorite entries some love, and let’s spread the season’s warmth!” the office said.

Online voting will run until November 17.
