SONA SHOWS MARCOS DEDICATION TO IMPROVE LIVES OF FILIPINOS — DEPED
THE DEPARTMENT of Education said that the speech of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. demonstrates his dedication to improve the lives of Filipinos as he vows to continue his outpouring support for the MATATAG Education Agenda.
The DepEd made the remark after the second State of the Nation Address of Marcos.
The agency shared the mission of Marcos to provide Filipino learners with “an education that secures their future.l”
Aligned with the directives of the President, the Department said that it has been institutionalizing relevant and innovative reforms to recalibrate the curriculum, provide rapid and responsive delivery of education services, and ensure the welfare of our learners and teachers.
“Guided by the aspirations of the President this year, we are keen to forge ahead and deliver results anew for the benefit of our Filipino education stakeholders,” it said in a statement.
Marcos said in his SONA that learning recovery is the top priority of his administration on the education sector to address the learning losses among students.
“We have renewed hope in giving the best to our next batches of students, especially that 28.4 million learners who returned to school this year. Learning recovery will be at the forefront of our education agenda,” the President said.
