SOME PARENTS WANT RETURN OF F2F CLASSES
SOME parents turned to social media to air their frustrations on the continued closure of schools.
This came after a Facebook post from a concerned mother who expressed confusion on the country’s educational policy gained traction on social media.
She said that while malls, gambling sites, and other leisure places are open, schools remain closed.
“DepEd willing po kami gastusan ang ganitong set up. Basta magkaroon ng face to face. Nakakaawa na po mga bata,” she said on Facebook.
“Paano natin ngayon masasabing ang kabataan ay pag-asa ng bayan kung di nmn po sila natuturuan sa tamang lugar at ng tamang tao,” she added.
There were suggestions to put up acrylic barriers between learners and strict adherence to health protocols.
President Rodrigo Duterte earlier allowed limited face-to-face classes in 120 schools located in areas with low Covid19 risk.
