SLSU GRAD TOPS ELECTRONICS ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
A STUDENT of the Southern Luzon State University-Lucban topped the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination exam with a rating of 92.10%.
Eugene Loreno Filomeno led the 897 successful examinees. The Professional Regulation Commission said that 1,925 took the exams given in April.
Two students from the Mapua University – John Renielle Fajardo Valenzuela and Jherriecho Christiane Valente Ayson – came in second and third with a score of 90.50% and 89.50%, respectively.
The best performing school was the University of the Philippines Diliman, with 36 of its 42 takers passing the exam for a success rate of 85.71%.
The PRC also announced the results of the April 22 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.
Gabriel Jeiyo Mangalino Gob of UPD got the highest score of 94%. The commission said 1,139 out of 1,337 examinees passed the exams.
The top performing schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80% passing percentage are Mapua University (96.67%); Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas (94.52%); Saint Louis University (92.77%); and Mindanao University of Science & Technology-CDO (88.46%).
The exams were held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.
The commission said the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certification of Registration will be done online from May 30 to 31, June 1 to 3, and June 6 to 10.
However, successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
