SENATOR Imee Marcos sought the establishment of a Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Training and Assessment Center in the municipality of Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

She filed Senate Bill 2167 that will establish the center that will serve the needs of residents in Lanao del Norte.

The senator said that the bill aims to transform, equip and prepare the residents to be skilled, competent and globally competitive.

Marcos said that the TESDA Center that she envisioned will provide technical and vocational skills training and development programs to low-income families, out of school youth, persons with disabilities and other members of other sectors.

Through the center, students will have access to fresh, practical knowledge and technical skills that can lead them to better jobs.
