SENATOR LAUDS JULY HOLDING OF NURSING LICENSURE EXAM
SENATOR Christopher ‘Bong’ Go on Wednesday lauded the decision of the Professional Regulation Commission to re-schedule the Nursing Licensure Examination to an earlier date.
The November 2021 exam date was moved to July 3-4, 2021.
The NLE was moved to November 2021 because of the surge in Covid19 cases.
The senator said that the successful examinees can be immediately deployed to address the shortage of personnel on the medical sector.
Earlier, the National Task Force Recovery Cluster agreed to include PRC frontline personnel in the A4 priority group for vaccination.
Go also asked authorities to study the possible inclusion of future health professionals or pre-board nursing graduates in the vaccination priority list, particularly those who are scheduled to take their licensure exams this year.
