SENATOR ASSURES COMMITMENT IN NURTURING THE NEXT GENERATION

/ 12 July 2024

SENATOR Christopher ‘Bong’ Go expressed his commitment to nurturing the next generation of Filipino leaders.

In his speech during the opening ceremony of the Sangguniang Kabataan Iloilo Chapter Provincial Congress, Go highlighted the importance of Congress as a platform for shaping knowledgeable and caring leaders.

As an advocate for the youth, Go discussed his legislative efforts to support local governance and youth programs.

He is a co-author of Republic Act No. 11768, which now provides monthly honorariums and other benefits to SK leaders, and earmarks 10% of barangay funds for youth development programs.
