ALTERNATIVE Learning System teachers from various areas attended the ALS Delivery and Management Integration Session held on September 23 and 24, 2023 in Iloilo City.

The event was organized by SEAMEO INNOTECH as part of its implementation of the ALS 2.0 online courses on ALS Delivery and Management.

SEAMEO INNOTECH and the University of Southeastern Philippines collaborated in developing the set of online courses on ALS Delivery and Management to reinforce the application of good practices, innovative strategies, and new learnings obtained by the participants throughout the run of the courses, which were held from April 1 to August 30, 2023.

In total, 461 ALS teachers have participated in the ALS Delivery and Management courses.

Officials from SEAMEO INNOTECH and the Department of Education’s Bureau of Alternative Education also joined the 90 teachers who participated. Each of the participants were guided by tutors, who helped them fortify their learnings throughout the two-day event.

Dr. Juan Robertino Macalde of the SEAMEO INNOTECH Learning Development and Management Office highlighted the professional development opportunities made available by the educators’ participation in the ALS 2.0 online courses.

INNOTECH will conduct the last ALS Delivery and Management Integration in Davao City.
