It will end on July 7, 2023.
The education department aims to have more schools conduct face-to-face classes alongside blended learning.
San Antonio said SY 2022-2023 will have 215 days.
The first quarter is set from August 22 to November 4, 2022; the second quarter from November 7, 2022 to February 3, 2023; the third quarter from February 13 to April 28, 2023, and the fourth quarter from May 2 to July 7, 2023.
The proposed Christmas break will start on December 19 and classes will resume on Jan. 2, 2023, San Antonio said.
There is also a planned mid-year break from Feb. 6 to 10, 2023, he added.
The agency plans to hold end-of-year rites, such as graduation ceremonies, from July 10 to 14, 2023.
During the summer, remedial, enrichment, or advanced classes can be held from July 17, 2023 to August 26 to 2023.
SY 2023-2024 is projected to start on August 28, 2023.
