SC OKAYS 29 TESTING SITES FOR BAR EXAMS
THE SUPREME Court has released a memorandum listing all the testing centers for those who will take the Bar exams in 2022.
The high court recently added the University of the Philippines Diliman and Bonifacio Global City, as well as De La Salle University in Metro Manila. Angeles University Foundation and Liceo de Cagayan University were added for those who will take the exams in Central Luzon and Northern Mindanao.
With these additions, there will be a total of 29 testing sites for the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations.
The court said it will strictly implement health and safety protocols.
Beginning October 15 until October 20, Bar candidates may select their venue through the Bar Personal Login Unified System or Bar PLUS.
The system will prioritize those who live in remote areas.
“To make the examinations more inclusive, venue matching will not be on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the limited number of available slots in each testing center, priority will be given to examinees who reside in remote areas,” it said.
Examinees will give two choices for the venue but the first choice will be given more weight than the second. If both choices are at full capacity, the system will give them the venue closest to their registered address.
Bar candidates from Metro Manila and Cebu are not allowed to take the exam at their alma mater even if it is their choice or is their nearest testing site.
The announcement of the assigned testing sites for Bar applicants will be on October 25.
