SC ADJUSTS AFTERNOON SCHEDULE OF 1ST DAY OF BAR EXAMS
THE SUPREME Court adjusted the afternoon schedule on the first day of the Bar examinations set on February 4, 2021.
THE SUPREME Court adjusted the afternoon schedule on the first day of the Bar examinations set on February 4, 2021.
Instead of 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the exam will be from 1:50 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
Associate Justice Marvic Leonen said the adjustment was made to avoid rush-hour overcrowding and to give examinees ample time to rest between Bar exam dates.
He noted that the decision was also prompted by the religious need of one of the testing centers whose Sabbath starts sunset on Friday and ends sunset on Saturday.
“The schedule change will be applied to all local testing centers. Again, the ten-minute adjustment will only be for the first day,” Leonen said.
“The lunch/study period from the end of the first examination will not be affected,” he added.
The morning examination hours on February 4 as well as the second day of the examinations will proceed as scheduled.
