MISS UNIVERSE Philippines announced that a portion of the proceeds of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant will be given to Save the Children Philippines.

MUP said a portion of the subscription fees and all voting will be given to the children’s rights organization.

“For the past 40 years, Save the Children has been helping millions of Filipino children to ensure that they survive, learn, and are protected every day and in times of crisis,” MUP said.

“They are the world’s leading independent children’s rights organization that aims to help children realize their rights,” it added.

It said that Filipinos can extend support to children in need by supporting their favored candidate during the competition.
