SAN JUAN MAYOR TO ANNOUNCE JAB REGISTRATION FOR CHILDREN
SAN JUAN City Mayor Francis Zamora will announce the opening of the city’s Covid19 vaccine registration system for those aged 5 to 11 on January 3, 2022.
“They have already rolled out the vaccination in other countries and we are hopeful that the IATF and DOH will soon come up with protocols and by the time that they give the go signal, we want to be ready to roll out our vaccination right away,” the mayor said.
“We are being proactive to protect the children especially since they are allowed to go out in public and face-to-face classes are slowly being implemented,” he added.
The mayor also urged his constituents to get their booster shots.
“To my beloved San Juanenos, if you got your second dose more than three months ago, I urge you to get your booster shots already because the protection you received from your initial doses has started to wane,” he said.
Zamora will be given his third anti-Covid shot on Monday, January 3, 2021.
“I got my second dose of vaccine more than six months ago already so I will be getting my booster shot to protect myself, my family and loved ones, my constituents and the people around me from Covid19,” he said.
