“Our mantra and our principle is that no student, no learner is left behind. This is why we have poured in so much support to the Department of Education and to public schools as well. San Beda is close to our hearts and we will continue to provide assistance and scholarship grants to enable the Bedan students to pursue their dreams,” wika niya.
“Your experiences are not different from the shared experiences of ordinary Filipinos. Most of the time, you are your family’s breadwinner. You are the ones who are gifted in education. You have the ability to uplift not only yourself but your family from poverty. One abiding lesson that I would like to impart to you is don’t give up. Don’t give up your dream. As one of you have said, despite the challenges you face, don’t surrender. Don’t ever lose hope,” wika ni Pangilinan.
Pahayag naman ni PLDT-Smart Foundation Chairman Esther Santos, “We value our partnership with the San Beda College Alumni Foundation in bringing hope to students who are in need of financial assistance. For the past five years, our work with the alumni foundation has gifted 52 scholars to become the best versions of themselves and reach their full potential.”
