HINIKAYAT ni Duterte Youth Partylist Rep. Ducielle Marie Cardema ang kaukulang komite sa Kamara na magsagawa ng ‘investigation in aid of legislation’ sa sinasabing recruitment ng mga civilian front organization sa mga unibersidad at kolehiyo.

Sa kanyang House Resolution 1293, iginiit ni Cardema na panahon nang malaman ng Kongreso at ng mamamayan kung ano-anong organisasyon ang nagre-recruit para sa New People’s Army.

“For clearly, the NPA has no visible recruitment centers in cities and schools and are just using non-NPA-named front organizations to recruit for them,” pahayag ni Cardema sa kanyang resolusyon.

Nilinaw ng mambabatas na hindi pakay ng resolusyon na imbestigahan ang mga organisasyon na nagpapahayag lamang ng mga puna o tumututol sa ilang programa ng gobyerno.

Binigyang-diin ng kinatawan ng Duterte Youth na may mga dating NPA rebels ang sumuko na sa gobyerno at nagsalaysay kung paano isinasagawa ng rebeldeng grupo ang recruitment.

Idadagdag pa niya na mayroon na ring mga ebidensya at datos na nakalap ang intelligence groups ng Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, National Security Council at National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict.

“In accordance with the policies and principles of the 1987 Constitution, it is the duty of this government and of this Congress of the Republic of the Philippines to finally investigate and resolve this most serious issues in our nation, for the stability and security of this Republic, to protect the millions of Filipino Youth and the next generation of Filipinos,” dagdag pa ng kongresista.
