QC OPENS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR SOLO PARENTS

THE QUEZON City government has opened a scholarship program for the children of indigent solo parents.
The financial assistance is open for solo parents with two or more children studying in a public school.
To qualify, parents should not be earning more than P12,000 a month.
A total of P5,000 were handed to each of the 145 children that made up the first batch of the program.
Interested applicants can register via https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/
The city also provides educational assistance to children with disabilities.
