CLASSES in Quezon City will be suspended on Monday, July 24, the day President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will deliver his second State of the Nation Address.

No classes will be held in all levels in private and public schools, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte said.

“Base sa Executive Order No. 23, idineklara ni Mayor Joy Belmonte na walang pasok sa lahat ng antas ng pribado at pampublikong paaralan sa Quezon City sa July 24, 2023 (Lunes) upang bigyang daan ang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,” the QC government said.

“Bagamat bakasyon na ang ibang klase, may Summer Classes naman na maaapektuhan dahil sa pagsasara ng ilang kalsada sa lungsod,” it added.

The yearly SONA is usually held every last Monday of July where the President unveils the administration’s agenda for the coming year.
