QC GOV’T CONTINUES TO INSPECT SCHOOLS
TO ENSURE the safety of students, faculty and personnel, the Quezon City government continues to inspect schools and universities as the country gradually resumes face-to-face classes.
“Throughout the city, we are continuously visiting and inspecting all schools to make sure that every student and teacher will be safe, once face-to-face classes are approved by the national government,” Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte said.
“We are really getting ready for the resumption of face-to-face classes now that Covid19 cases have dropped to its lowest in NCR”, Belmonte said.
The mayor added that the city government helps schools retrofit their facilities to comply with the health protocols set by the government.
“All deficiencies in the facilities found by the teams are immediately remedied, and rest assured we are giving them all out support,” she added.
Aside from basic education schools, the city also inspected colleges and universities, including the St. Luke’s Medical Center – College of Medicine, Far Eastern University, Our Lady of Fatima University, University of the East – Ramon Magsaysay, and World Citi Colleges.
