PRC POSTPONES PRACTICAL PHASE OF OPTOMETRIST LICENSURE EXAM
THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission postponed the practical phase of the optometrist licensure examinations in the National Capital Region because of the surge in Covid19 cases.
From January 17 to 21 and 24 to 26, 2022, the practical phase was moved to January 24-28, 2022 and January 31-February 4, 2022.
PRC said the delay will give the Professional Regulatory Board members, examination personnel and the host school’s personnel time “to rest and prepare for the resumption of the remaining examinations.”
“Likewise, the one-week break will also give those examinees who have previously tested Covid19 positive the chance to take the OLE-Practical Phase after having recovered from their illnesses,” it said.
All examinees were advised to check the PRC website and its social media accounts for updates.
