PRC POSTPONES MIDWIFE LICENSURE EXAM
THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission has postponed the Licensure Examination for midwives to November 2021.
The exam was rescheduled from April 7 and 8 to November 7 and 8. The PRC cited Covid19 pandemic restrictions as the reason for the postponement.
Because of the postponement, the application period for the said licensure exam will be from April 21 until June 21.
For further inquiries and concerns, the examinees may email Licensure Division at [email protected] and [email protected].
THe PRC scheduled 101 licensure examinations for 2021 because of the postponement of the exams in 2020.
“Because we only conducted about 11 exams last year compared to 83 examinations in 2019, we have scheduled 101 licensure examinations for 2021 to make up [for the losses last year],” PRC Chairman Teofilo Pilando said.
