PBBM, VP SARA JOIN BRIGADA ESKWELA
PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte on Monday joined the first day of Brigada Eskwela at the V. Mapa High School in Manila.
Marcos and Duterte helped paint chairs. They were joined by teachers, parents, and students.
They also turned over paints and cleaning tools to the school.
The country’s top two officials also visited the school’s science laboratory and Literacy Center.
School Principal Robert Velasquez said the visit had a profound impact on students and school personnel.
The occasion provided Velasquez the opportunity to discuss with Duterte issues and concerns of the school and students.
Brigada Eskwela will be conducted from August 14 to 19.
Last week, Duterte led the Brigada Eskwela kick-off at the Tarlac National High School.
Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide school program that aims to prepare schools for the opening of classes.
