THE PASIG City government has turned over four units of Toyota Avanza to the Schools Division of Pasig and 76 units of laptops to teachers.

Mayor Vico Sotto said that the vehicles and gadgets will help teachers render better service.

Acquisition of such items will help both the Schools Division Office in Pasig and teachers to perform their duties and responsibilities expected from them and further the quality of teaching in Pasig,” Sotto said.

The city government purchased 1,000 laptops this year to augment the existing learning devices.

Sotto also said that 500 teachers and non-teaching personnel have finished their annual physical examination.

Some 2,500 teachers will take their physical examination in the next five days, the mayor said.
